My name is Hameda Rechi, I am a paralegal / caseworker at L J Collins Solicitors. I graduated in 2023 from London Southbank University with a degree in LLB Law. I am currently studying for my Masters in Law as well as completing the Solicitors Qualifying Exams.

I joined L J Collins Solicitors in Autum 2023 and have been working under Lorita Collins who has vast experience in family law and I have been able to learn from her.

My role within the team involves speaking to clients to take initial instructions for statements, assisting clients at PLO meetings, clerking hearings to support clients and Barristers. I also arrange testing for drug and alcohol testing and general office duties to support the team.

My Aspiration is for me to qualify as a family solicitor and to practice as a public law solicitor at LJC Solicitors. I have always been interested in Family Law which stemmed from my undergraduate degree. I found the family and child care module very interesting and this interest was further reinforced during my dissertation which was based on the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. With this in mind, I would like to help families.

I am interested in travelling and cooking. I am able to speak Bengali – Sylheti fluently and I am also able to understand Hindi and Urdu.
